EVENT: Kristen T. Oertel and Marilyn S. Blackwell discuss their research and New Book Frontier Feminist: Clarina Howard Nichols and the Politics of Motherhood. Kristen T. Oertel is the Mary Frances Barnard Associate Professor in Nineteenth-Century American History at The University of Tulsa. Marilyn S. Blackwell is an independent scholar who has published widely on women's and Vermont History.
