E-Books

Truth be told, Rainy Day Books prefers paper over plastic. E-readers are helpful devices for many of our customers, however. We appreciate that our e-reading customers still want to support Rainy Day Books, so we've introduced this new web site to provide the means to do just that. At present, Rainy Day Books does not sell any devices for reading e-books.

We offer a constantly expanding array of e-books in several formats, including Adobe, Palm and Microsoft. Compatible devices include iPad, iPhone, Sony Reader, BlackBerry, iPhone, Pocket PC and many more.

When you create your Rainy Day Books site account, you can choose a default e-reader format for your e-reader. To set your default format, log in or create your account, and on the "My Account" page, select the "Edit" tab. There you can choose your preferred device.

At present, there is one anomaly in the system (isn't that always the way with new technology?): e-book purchases must be made separately from regular book purchases. It's a bug that's being fixed, but one you should be aware of.
