Author:  Beth Ann Fennelly's first book of poems, Open House, won the Great Lakes College Association New Writers Award and was a Book Sense Top-Ten Pick (to be reissued by W.W. Norton, 2009). Other books include Tender Hooks (Norton 2004) and Unmentionables (Norton 2008), which Booklist calls "insouciant, sexy, funny, and dead-on." Fennelly's poetry has appeared in more than 40 anthologies. She lives in Oxford, Miss., with novelist husband Tom Franklin, and their children. She teaches at the University of Mississippi.
